Business School

Business School

Business ethics are an almost daily topic in the news, in business schools, in the workplace and in our homes. I pay close attention to business ethics and what is written about them in my daily life as a strategic thinking, planning and business coach. I am still astounded at the remarks of major corporations a few years ago when they said they "waived or suspended" the ethics code or requirements. I am still at a total loss at how anyone can "suspend or waive" ethics. While I may not be able to explain the suspension or waiving of ethics, I do hope to provide some solid advice on what business and other organizations need to do today to present, preserve and promote ethics in their organizations.

Online work is as diverse as on site work. Online work is demanding because the owner needs to work alone, be a self-starter, and be able to handle a lot of text material on a screen. The ephemerality of the web is another issue - many websites seem to disappear as soon as they spring up, and Silliman suggests the need for archiving online work is a problem that needs to be resolved. A key issue with online work is keeping it fresh, and not letting people forget about the space because out of sight, out of mind.

Given the fast pace of the business world these days, UK companies need to be certain that their workforce is ready to handle a changing environment. So many industries must concern themselves with economic factors, sales climate, and of course, competition. To that end, many employers are looking to enhance the level of performance from their organizations. This means, in some cases, they'd like the managers in their companies to seek business management training which will hone their skills in various facets of management.

The local schools these three individuals send, sent or will send their children are like any other school. They have excellent teachers and some not so excellent ones. The students are surrounded by bullying, exclusion from cliques, fights, disrespect for teachers, and drug use. This describes any school in America. Parents are busy blaming the schools while the schools are blaming the parents. Unfortunately, the truth is the problem of school violence and bullying will never improve until parents, students, school staff and the community work together

High Schools all over America are experiencing funding cuts that are leading to the elimination or scaling back of athletic programs and extracurricular activities. Current fund raising efforts fall short of goals, are intrusive, and many are event based which fail to reach goals. The key problem is the school focuses on the student body and their parents. Each student needs to sell. Each parent needs to volunteer. They have to all contribute in some way to raising cash for programs. This is short sighted and does not create any revenue which can be budgeted for in the future. There is a solution out there. Read On.

There are many businesses a person can become involved in that sound interesting and have the potential to reward an entrepreneur with good profit margins. However, many of these businesses require large amounts of capital and years of work before a business person even comes close to breaking even on their investment. The window tinting business is completely different. It is a business that is very interesting, rewarding and can be learned quickly with very little personal investment. And it is a business that allows the entrepreneur to be profitable almost from the start.
